ABOUT US

Our purpose is to glorify God by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the people of our community through evangelism, worship, fellowship, discipleship and service.

OUR VISION

Willow Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church was founded on the principles and teachings of the Scripture as God's Holy Word.

WHAT WE DO

Willow Creek has a rich history of commitment in teaching of God's love and Salvation, throughout the community and beyond. In a 1960's article published in The Cumberland Presbyterian, our pastor at that time, Leslie Bone, was quoted: "What lies ahead we do not know. What is behind us is history. We will work in the future with the belief that God will use us." Willow Creek has been blessed with dedicated servants throughout its 150 years and its future promises to be strong if the faithfulness to God's purpose remains firm.

OUR COMMUNITY

We have been proudly serving God for over 150 years! We are a traditional church family with a comtemporary flare.

Our Pastor

Kevin Small

Our pastor, Kevin Small, answered the call to ministry in 1985.  Later that year, he married Lisa, a preacher's daughter, and served in several part-time churches before going full-time in ministry.  Kevin has been pastor at our church since August 1996.  He serves as pastor, served as moderator of North Central Presbytery of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, co-directed youth camp for the Presbytery for several years, has served on committees for the General Assembly of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and volunteers in the community.  Having grown up in a farm family in Southern Illinois, Kevin has a deeper understanding of our church since it is centered in farming community.
